Sgt. Kelleher have been with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for 27 years and have been assigned as the team supervisor for the Department’s HazMat Detail for the past 10 years. The team specializes in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear threats. The team is responsible for handling all CBRN threats in Los Angeles unincorporated areas and the 87 cities in Los Angeles County (Excluding the city of Los Angeles). Sgt. Kelleher is a Task Force Officer for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and am assigned to the Hazardous Evidence Response Team. Prior to joining the HazMat Detail Sgt. Kelleher worked a variety of assignments including gangs, narcotics and field training officer. Sgt. Kelleher holds a B.S. in Biology from St. Mary’s College of California.
